15 Bible Verses To Help You Stand Firm In Your Faith

FAITH

I’ve always had a deep-rooted sense of Faith. Even before I was saved and lived my life in the new age, I just knew and trusted that in every trial, there was always a profound opportunity to learn in order to grow.

However, in the last year and a half of becoming a Christian, I’ve seen a huge caution against anything that remotely sounds like the ‘word of faith’ movement, and unfortunately, professing Christians living in a state of victimhood, resisting faith because they’ve been hurt by false teaching. This honestly led to a deep state of confusion and had me questioning how faithful I was ‘allowed’ to be as a newer Christian. Not good.

The ‘word of faith' movement leans more into new age philosophy because it doesn’t highlight God’s Will. That’s the big difference. Instead, it focuses on our will. Our desire. Because it’s a counterfeit of biblical principles that doesn’t require repentance or a turning from sin. And that is why it hurts people. So, though the bible never promises ‘health, wealth, and happiness,’ it does promise that our lives can be righteously judged by the fruits of the spirit. And that we are absolutely allowed to ask God for what we need, meditate on what is true, and trust in God's provision regardless of external circumstances.

So—this is a list I put together for my personal use because in all honesty I wanted to have a collection of verses on recal in order to better be armed with the Word of God when the world tries to convince me otherwise.

I hope it can be useful for you as well, enjoy.
